the pixi shelf and shelf options need the shelf extension installed once:

pixi global install --channel https://mojoshelf.org/channel mojoshelf

pixi mode: a registry-pinned git source dependency

pixi shelf add lancedb-mojo

the same, with plain pixi (no shelf extension needed)
